Accelerator for America Action is a 501(c)4 non-profit organization that engages in advocacy work to advance local, state and federal investment in transit and infrastructure. Starting in 2022, the program United for Infrastructure began operating as a project of the Accelerator. After advocating for federal investment in infrastructure for a decade, United for Infrastructure has shifted its focus towards successful implementation of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
Each $1 billion of investment in transit and infrastructure creates approximately 22,307 jobs — good-paying and, typically, union jobs that provide recession-proof careers and strong local economies.
Since Accelerator’s founding, we have helped local communities generate more than $40 billion in transit and infrastructure funding through ballot initiatives. United for Infrastructure’s advocacy work helped lay the foundation for the historic federal Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
