Join the 10,000 Communities Initiative for a hybrid roundtable discussion with regional infrastructure innovators on May 18th from 2 – 4 pm EST. The first half of the event will feature a fireside deployment chat with Jigar Shah, Director of the DOE Loan Programs Office and then showcase innovative strategies for advancing equitable community infrastructure development. Rachel Reilly, Senior Advisor, Milken Institute will moderate a panel of experts including Laura Brunner, President and Chief Executive Officer of The Port of Greater Cincinnati Development Authority, representing the Midwest region; Margaret Hoffman, Oregon State Director for the US Department of Agriculture, representing the Northwest region; Allie Kelly, Executive Director of The Ray, representing the Southeast region; Olga Morales-Pate, CEO of the Rural Community Assistance Partnership, representing the Southwest region; and Lynn von Koch-Liebert, Executive Director of California Strategic Growth Council, representing California. They will discuss the latest trends in infrastructure deployment and how they are partnering with the 10,000 Communities Initiative to help underserved, rural, and urban communities access the resources they need to drive local economic growth.
The second hour of the event will highlight replicable projects being advanced in high-demand areas such as energy, water, broadband and better buildings. Communities around the country interested in accessing capacity and capital for their projects will also learn more the newest features in the Community Infrastructure Center Platform.
This event is open to community leaders, policymakers, stakeholders, and anyone interested in staying up-to-date on infrastructure development trends. Attendees will gain insights into the challenges and opportunities facing communities in various regions and learn about the latest infrastructure development trends.
